In our 3rd webinar, our speaker, retired Navy Senior Colonel Mehmet Örgen, spoke about the importance of Montreux Convention, its contribution to peace in the region and what the Channel Istanbul Project would bring to the table.

In our 2nd Zoom webinar, our speaker, retired Navy Senior Colonel Mehmet Örgen, shared his thoughts about the latest developments in the Eastern Mediterranean region including the energy pipeline projects from the economic and military perspectives.

We started our webinar series by hosting The University of Chicago’s Arnold C. Harberger Professor Ufuk Akçiğit. Prof. Akçiğit shared his recent reserach on the economic effects of Covid-19 on the Turkish economy and the global economy in general.

Every year, Harvard Club of Turkey dedicates the month of March to celebrate the Women’s Day. This year, we hosted three successful women scientists, Prof. Dr. Elif Damla Arısan, Doç. Dr. Nergiz Dağoğlu Sakin and Dr. Emel Sokullu.

We were invited to Artam Antik A.Ş., which is the leading art auction house in Turkey. Our host was the manager of the Artam Auction House and the editor of the Artam Art Magazine, Mr. Olgaç Artam.
